Abdul Rahman Saleh Al-Rajhi and Partners Co. Ltd acquired Dr. Fakhry Hospital in November 2005, with Mr. Khalid Abdulrahman S. Al-Rajhi as the new Chairman of the hospital Board.

Under the Medical Division of the Al-Rajhi Group an ultra modern hospital “RIAYA – PROCARE” is about to be commissioned soon in Alkhobar.    Dr. Abdul Aziz Al Khozaim leads RIAYA as Executive Director, and also the Group Medical Division as its General Manager.

Dr. Fakhry Hospital was founded in 1956 by Dr. Mohamed Fakhry as a few beds Polyclinic in a small city at that time “Alkhobar”.  Over the years it has grown into one of the best city level multi disciplinary healthcare institutions in this part of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with 200 authorized beds.  With the new Executive General Director Dr. Samih Bayram, the other directors and based on needs and developments in medical care, the Hospital has been regularly upgrading its facilities from diagnostic and therapeutic angles in all the specialties.

The Hospital provides medical care to thousands of citizens not only in Alkhobar but also the neighboring towns.  The infrastructure present and the facilities provided are at par if not better than the best other same-size hospitals in the country. 

Today Dr.Fakhry & Al-Rajhi Hospital provides state of the art facilities in 28 Clinical and Para Clinical divisions.  With 28 clinics now and 36 by 2007-08, it intends to offer comprehensive care to all patients.  These clinics help in creating a high level of awareness amongst the patients and benefit the medical community as well and thus widen the health knowledgebase in the society.
